Learn why this is important <br />Dear Members of the City Council, <br />We live at Island Place, right next to the Redwood LIFE campus. We have families and <br />support Redwood LIFE Evolve because of its positive impacts on Redwood Shores. These <br />include the new parks and open space, new restaurants in the amenity center, badly needed <br />funding for sea-level rise protection, and new revenue for the City to support services. Simply <br />put, we support progress and that is what Redwood LIFE represents. <br />We wanted to attend the first community meeting, but as we had seen in previous meetings <br />and outreach the opposition groups were aggressive and we felt uncomfortable participating in <br />this process. While we love the project and are excited about the opportunity it will bring for <br />the entire community and all families we just felt it was better to send a letter than speak in <br />person. <br />Please join us, 68% of Stop Redwood LIFE, and the others in our community who support <br />moving into CEQA with Alternative 2. <br />Moms of Island Plac
