<br />10 <br /> <br />reflected recently in the work period that started on May 22, 2023 and ended on <br />June 18, 2023. <br /> <br />7.4.3 Compensatory Time <br /> <br />Upon request employees represented by the Association shall be compensated for <br />such overtime in compensatory time off. Employees may accumulate a maximum <br />of eighty (80) hours of compensatory time off, which may be used at times chosen <br />by the employee and approved by the Police Chief. An employee shall, upon <br />separation from City employment, be paid for unused, accumulated compensatory <br />time off at the higher of (1) the employee’s final regular rate of pay, or (2) the <br />employee’s average regular rate of pay during the last three (3) years of <br />employment. <br /> <br />7.4.4 Overtime Compensation for Lieutenants <br /> <br />Notwithstanding the FLSA exemption status of Lieutenants, Lieutenants, are <br />eligible for contractual overtime pay in accordance with this MOU. <br /> <br />7.5 Premium Pay <br /> <br />7.5.1 Specialty Incentive <br /> <br />Police Sergeants who are assigned to the following special assignments shall <br />receive premium pay of five percent (5%) of the employee’s base pay: <br /> <br />o Police Investigator (Investigations, Street Crime Suppression Team) <br />o Narcotics Division (Narcotics Task Force), <br />o Training (Training Manager), and <br />o Police Liaison (Downtown Services Unit, Traffic) <br />. <br />7.5.2 Shift Differential <br /> <br />Police Sergeants who are regularly assigned to swing shift (C-Watch), night shift <br />(A-Watch), or who are assigned as the relief sergeant shall receive premium pay <br />in the amount of five percent (5%) of the employee’s base pay. Any employee <br />who is placed on a modified schedule shall receive five percent (5%) premium pay <br />if the majority of their assigned hours fall between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 <br />am. <br /> <br />7.6 Court Pay <br /> <br />Effective the first full pay period following City Council approval of the MOU extension <br />in 2023, anAn off-duty employee who is subpoenaed to appear in court in cases in which <br />the City is a party shall be compensated at one and one-half (1.5) times the employee's <br />regular straight-time rate for all hours the employee is so ordered by the City to appear <br />with a minimum of five (5) hours. The exceptions will be for those employees whose shift <br />begins less than five (5) hours before the subpoenaed time of appearance, or appears by <br />telephone. <br /> <br />6.H. - Page 18 of 72 <br />360
