In addition, the project would <br />also incorporate portions of California Street which the applicant has requested be vacated and would also <br />include a parcel swap at 2529 Broadway with a portion of the existing Transit Center parking lot currently owned <br />by the Joint Powers Board. In total, the proposed project site would be 70,568 sq. ft. The project site for the <br />housing project would combine the two existing lots for a total of 35,072 sq. ft. The current uses on these sites <br />include a self-storage facility and a single-family home. <br /> <br />The commercial development project would comprise of approximately 305,225 sq. ft. of office/research and <br />development lab and a 6,457 sq. ft. Teen Center.
