In addition, the project would also incorporate portions of California Street which the applicant has requested be vacated and would also include a parcel swap at 2529 Broadway with a portion of the existing Transit Center parking lot currently owned by the Joint Powers Board. In total, the proposed project site would be 70,568 sq. ft. The project site for the housing project would combine the two existing lots for a total of 35,072 sq. ft. The current uses on these sites include a self-storage facility and a single-family home. The commercial development project would comprise of approximately 305,225 sq. ft. of office/research and development lab and a 6,457 sq. ft. Teen Center. The parcels at 920 Shasta Street and 122 Buckeye Street includes 100 for-rent multi-family residential units to the Project.
