Construction Sign - Prior to building permit issuance, the Applicant shall install and provide <br />photo verification of at least one 36“ x 48” (minimum) construction sign in a visible location <br />along the project frontage for the duration of construction. The sign shall include, at <br />minimum, the following information: project name & address, elevation or rendering, <br />construction manager (name, phone number), anticipated completion (season, year), and <br />the City’s permitting website http://permits.redwoodcity.org.[COA][PLANNING] <br />94. Construction Meetings – The Applicant is required to contact the Permit Counter <br />(650.780.7350) to schedule the following meetings prior to or during construction. <br />[COA][BUILDING] <br />• Pre-Grading - Prior to the issuance of any grading permits, the Applicant shall ensure <br />all construction crews undergo a training session to inform them: 1) of the potential <br />for previously undiscovered human remains or presence and identification of federal <br />or state-eligible cultural resources within the Project area, 2) of the laws protecting <br />these resources and associated penalties, and 3) of the procedures to follow should <br />they discover human remains or cultural resources during Project related work (Refer <br />to COA no. 105 below.) [General Plan EIR Mitigation Measures 4.5-1b & 3b] <br />[COA][Planning] <br />• Pre-Construction - Prior to building permit issuance, the Applicant shall schedule a <br />pre-construction meeting with Engineering, Building, Fire, and Planning staff to <br />discuss the inspection process and requirements for construction and site work. The <br />Applicant shall arrange for the attendance of the Applicant, developer, construction <br />manager, contractor, and all subcontractors who are responsible for grading and <br />erosion and sedimentation protection controls. <br />95. Changes to Meet Code - Modifications to the approved plans shall require Planning <br />review and approval prior to building permit issuance. Minor project modifications <br />required to meet building, fire, and safety codes at time of building permit plan check <br />may be allowed, at the City’s discretion. Substantial modification of approved plans, as <br />determined by the Zoning Administrator, may be subject to an amendment or a new <br />Permit. [COA] [PLANNING] <br />96. Certification Letters - Prior to final inspection, the Applicant shall submit certification <br />letters from the following architects verifying that the Project, as constructed, complies <br />with the approved plans. After the certification letter has been submitted, the project <br />planner will also confirm substantial compliance with the approved plans during the <br />scheduled final inspection.
