Consultant will provide technical questions support to <br />the City regarding design and specifications and provide written responses to the City <br />to all written requests for clarification received from prospective bidders during the <br />bid period. Consultant will allocate 24 hours to provide technical bid package support. <br />Deliverables: Written responses to prospective bidder requests for clarification. <br />TASK 4: ON-GOING TECHNICAL SUPPORT <br />4.1 On-going technical support. Provide on-going technical support with respect to <br />utility noticing and coordination, final plans, construction specifications, construction <br />drawings, final plans, utility relocation noticing, and environmental review during <br />construction phase once the construction bid has been awarded. Consultant will <br />typically respond to Request For Information (RFI) inquiries within two (2) business <br />days. The Consultant’s allocated hours for supporting on-going technical questions <br />are included in Task 3. <br />4.2 Additional Optional Services. Consultant will provide additional on-going Technical <br />Support hours beyond the allocated budget at the request of the City on a Time & <br />Materials basis utilizing the rates provided in the Task and Labor Rate Schedules <br />below. <br />Deliverables: Regular, on-going progress updates on technical support issues and <br />resolutions during the construction phase. <br />FEE <br />Consultant shall provide the services outlined here on an hourly basis per the labor rate schedule <br />below for a total amount not to exceed Two Hundred Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred <br />Twenty-Four Dollars ($219,424). Fees will be billed monthly based on the actual hours used in <br />each task per the labor rate schedule delineated below. Fees for each task will not exceed the <br />amount delineated in the table below, unless prior approval is obtained from the Public Works <br />Fleet Superintendent.
