Resolution authorizing execution of a Primary Grant Agreement (PGA) with San Mateo <br />County Transportation Authority for future Measure A and W funding (304) <br />Reso 16275 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt a resolution authorizing City Manager to sign and execute a Primary Grant <br />Agreement (PGA) with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority for future <br />Measure A and W funding over the next 10 years; and <br />2. By motion, authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute project-specific <br />supplemental agreements for allocation of Measures A and W grants over the next 10 <br />years. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 6.D. Award of contract for 2024 Pavement Overlay Project - Redwood Avenue to maintain <br />roadway surface and add roadway signage, bikeway striping, and speed cushions to <br />increase safety for people walking and riding bicycles to Granite Rock Company, with <br />funding of up to $1,224,174 provided from Measure A and W grants and Senate Bill 1 <br />(304) <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute contract documents and <br />award the standard form construction contract for the 2024 Pavement Overlay Project - <br />Redwood Avenue to Granite Rock Company of San Jose, for their responsive and <br />responsible low bid of $1,112,885 to be funded from Measures A and W grants and from <br />Senate Bill 1, waive certain minor irregularities as set forth in the staff report, and <br />authorize the City Manager or their designee to increase the contract amount, if <br />necessary, up to 10 percent of the amount awarded, for a total amount not to exceed <br />$1,224,174. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1.
