2024 California Code <br />Health and Safety Code - HSC <br />DIVISION 28 - NOISE CONTROL ACT Section 46000. <br />California Noise Laws. Health and Safety Code 46000. (f) All <br />Californians are entitled to a peaceful and quiet environment without theintrusion of noise which may be hazardous to their health or welfare. <br />46060. It is the purpose of this chapter to encourage the enactment andenforcement of local ordinances in those areas which are most properly theresponsibility of local government. <br /> <br /> <br />6.04.060 - Prohibited conduct. <br />No Owner or other Person having care, custody or control of any animal shallcause or permit it to do any of following: <br /> <br />(c) To suffer or permit such animal to habitually bark or meow or otherwise actto disturb the peace of any citizen or to be a public nuisance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City has been informed of these issues multiple times but has donenothing. We request Council to please not only pass these issues to the City Manageras she replies with an automated response and passes it to Deputy manager whodown plays it, gives untruthful replies and then buries the matter with no resolutionand then never to be heard back from the City Manager. <br /> <br />Instead, please include the reported issues in your upcoming meeting agenda andconduct a meeting with the City and Police to reinforce and outline the responsibilitiesof City of the Redwood City and the Police Department. Please have a follow-uppublic hearing in regards to Noise nuisance Local Laws and Ordinances Enforcement <br />to promote the Public Health and Safety and Peaceful enjoyment of our communities. <br /> <br />We request the Mayor, Council and Supervisors to take action on these seriouscommunity matters of noise nuisance.
