The code <br />enforcement officers don’t do anything, and such incidents are closed and are <br />completely neglected by the city or postponed forever. <br /> <br />Police are not trained on enforcing city noise nuisance ordinances and are completely <br />disregarding it. Police are going by their own policy and discretion and not doing any <br />enforcement per the city municipal code and city ordinance. Lieutenant is aware of <br />these issues and has not taken any action. <br /> <br />Clearly there is a lack of Supervision, training and Coordination from the City and a <br />huge disconnect between the City and the Police regarding its city ordinance <br />enforcement. This is causing a lot of disputes and nuisance in the community's <br />neighborhoods. Police lack of enforcement is promoting the misconduct and <br />continuation of and promoting the violators to keep violating city ordinances, disturbing <br />the peace and quietude of our community. <br /> <br />City expresses written ordinances for namesake and uses Police as an escape to <br />enforce them but Police don’t enforce it causing chaos and nuisance in the community. <br />The City of Redwood City is not enforcing the Noise Nuisance , is mishandling the local <br />noise ordinances and is neglecting the Public Health and Safety code leaving residents <br />unable to rest and enjoy the peaceful enjoyment of their property. Per CA State Law <br />Noise Nuisance is a Local jurisdictions responsibility. Redwood City’s Failure to enforce <br />it, the City is violating the CA Public Health and Safety Code Section 46000-46060. <br /> <br />2024 California Code <br />Health and Safety Code - HSC <br />DIVISION 28 - NOISE CONTROL ACT Section 46000. <br />California Noise Laws. Health and Safety Code 46000. (f) All <br />Californians are entitled to a peaceful and quiet environment without the intrusion <br />of noise which may be hazardous to their health or welfare. <br />46060. It is the purpose of this chapter to encourage the enactment and <br />enforcement of local ordinances in those areas which are most properly the <br />responsibility of local government. <br /> <br />
