REV: 02-27-25 LF Task 1.2 - Perform site surveys and prepare site survey reports for customers Consultant shall conduct a general site evaluation in the presence of the site’s landscape maintenance company or site’s representative to assess the overall requirements of converting a non-potable system to recycled water. Consultant shall invite the City to attend the site evaluation. As part of the investigation, Consultant shall take representative pictures of the site. Consultant shall conduct, if possible, an initial one-way (non-potable system only) standard or pressure cross-connection shutdown test. The test will follow the procedures described in Tasks 5 or 6, as appropriate. Consultant shall summarize the results of the site evaluation in a site survey report that will discuss: The site information The non-potable system The results of the one-way cross-connection shutdown test The overall conversion requirements to convert the non-potable system to recycled water The recycled water conversion process specific to the site The estimated construction cost for the conversion of the non-potable system Task 1.2 Deliverable: Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City a draft and final site survey report Task 1.2 Schedule: Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City o A draft site survey report within three weeks of the site visit o A final site survey report within one week from receipt of City comments For Task 1 overall, The City will provide site-specific information such as customer information and non-potable demands. If Consultant waits one hour with no response and no show from the site representative for a scheduled site investigation, Consultant may charge a cancellation fee of one hour for one staff member. The cancellation fee will be based on the hourly rate of the appropriate position. Task 2 – Perform plan check reviews for recycled water and cross connection projects Consultant will review project submittals provided by the City. It is anticipated that a submittal will include the following: Title 22 Recycled Water Engineering Report Irrigation drawings (off-site, on-site, within a building) On-site and off-site civil improvements plans ATTY/AGR.2025.032/West Yost & Associates, Inc.
