REV: 02-27-25 LF Plumbing plans for dual-plumbed buildings Site specific cross-connection test plan If requested by the Water Resources Public Works Utilities Field Supervisor or a Water Resources Specialist, the Consultant shall perform the following potential tasks: Evaluate submittal for compliance with City’s standards and SWRCB requirements. If the submittal is not in general compliance, annotate the documents and provide correspondence to the City identifying the necessary changes. Review revised submittal for conformance with City’s and SWRCB requirements and for potential changes made to the submittal which were not provided on the original submittal. Return to the City any plans not in compliance, with annotations identifying any noncompliance items or changes from the original submittal. Consultant is not responsible for paying any agency fees. Task 2 Deliverable: Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City annotations to documents and correspondence summarizing comments as described above Task 2 Schedule: As directed by the City Task 3 – Develop plans for recycled water and cross connection projects As requested by the City, Consultant shall prepare plans for recycled water and cross connection projects, including, but not limited to, plans for new projects or retrofit plans for the conversion of the existing non-potable systems. Consultant shall prepare plans following all applicable standards and regulations. For Retrofit Plans Consultant shall prepare retrofit plans for the conversion of existing potable or/and non- potable systems. Retrofit plans will be prepared following the City’s Engineering Design Standards and City’s Customer Guidelines for Recycled Water Use. Consultant will conduct a field investigation visit that will include: The site’s current landscape maintenance company or building maintenance company to locate potable water facilities and the irrigation facilities or non-potable systems that will be converted to recycled water. Irrigation facilities include above-grade items such as quick coupler valves, remote control valves, controllers, backflows, and meters. Potable facilities include a drinking fountain, building isolation valve, hose bibs, backflows, and meters. The field investigation will use existing controller maps, if available, or plumbing plans to assist with locating the existing facilities. Consultant will then prepare retrofit drawings (11”x 17”) that incorporate the field investigation results. The irrigation system retrofit ATTY/AGR.2025.032/West Yost & Associates, Inc.
