REV: 02-27-25 LF <br />For Task 4 overall, <br />If Consultant waits one hour with no response and no show from the site <br />representative for a scheduled site investigation, Consultant may charge a <br />cancellation fee of one hour for one staff member. The cancellation fee will be <br />based on the hourly rate of the appropriate position. <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the site representative to obtain access to all site <br />locations/rooms during the site visit. <br />Task 4 Deliverable: <br />Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City a draft and final <br />pressure test evaluation letter <br />Task 4 Schedule: <br />Consultant shall submit electronically in PDF format to the City: <br />o A draft pressure test evaluation letter within one week of the site visit <br />o A final/revised draft pressure test evaluation letter within one week of <br />receiving comments from the City <br />Task 5 - Plan and perform pressure cross connection tests <br />Consultant shall perform this task with an AWWA-certified Cross Connection Control <br />Specialist. <br />Consultant will conduct a potable and recycled water pressure cross-connection <br />shutdown test at a site in the presence of the site’s representative. Consultant will provide <br />the equipment and tools required for the test and will be available to perform the test <br />during regular business hours, nights, or weekends. <br />Prior to performing the pressure cross-connection shutdown test, Consultant shall <br />develop a site-specific pressure cross connection test plan. After developing the test plan, <br />Consultant shall send the plan to the City for review. If the test plan is included with an <br />Engineering Report submittal for a dual-plumbed project, the City will send the test plan <br />to the SWRCB for their review and approval. Consultant must receive approval from the <br />City (for irrigation or industrial projects) or from the SWRCB (for dual-plumbed projects) <br />prior to performing the test. <br />Potable Pressure Cross-Connection Shutdown Test <br />Consultant shall receive approval through a test plan as described above for exact <br />procedures for the site prior to conducting each test. The potable pressure cross- <br />connection shutdown test, in general, involves the following actions: <br />On all potable water meters, the Consultant shall install digital pressure recorders <br />on all reduced pressure principal backflow prevention assemblies. <br />The Consultant shall verify that the recorders are operating properly and allowed <br />to track under full pressure for at least 10 minutes before isolating and <br />depressurizing the system. <br />The site’s representative will shut off the isolation valve to each building (if <br />needed). <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.032/West Yost & Associates, Inc.
