Initial funding for this project has been <br />allocated through annual CIP requests. <br />c. Water System - Recycled Water Budget <br />The recycled water system budget primarily funds operating expenses, however, capital improvements <br />are a large share of the budget and advance system expansion and reliability efforts. <br />Figure 2: Recycled Water System Budget Allocation <br />Funding for capital improvement projects increased from zero in FY 2015-16 to $3.8M in FY 2024-25. On <br />average, capital expenses make up about twenty percent of the total recycled water system budget.
