REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />-One (1) 7.00 inch by 7.00 inch by 1.0 inch bag <br />AIR BAG COMPARTMENT LOCATION <br />The air bag compartment shall be located forward in the L-5 compartment. <br />VELCRO STRAPPING <br />The air bag compartment shall incorporate heavy duty Velcro strapping to securely retain the <br />equipment during transit. <br />SCBA AIR BOTTLE STORAGE RACK <br />There shall be a free standing .125 smooth aluminum air bottle storage rack installed with the <br />apparatus. <br />The storage rack shall be mounted on a slight incline towards the compartment inboard wall. Each <br />individual bottle storage compartment shall incorporate a 1.00 inch nylon safety loop to be <br />attached to the top of the bottle to prevent the bottles from sliding forward when stored. <br />The bottle storage openings shall have an inside dimension of approximately 7.00 inches wide by <br />7.00 inches high with a maximum depth not to exceed compartment interior depth. <br />The storage rack shall have provisions to hold the following air bottles: <br />The rack shall hold eight (8) cylinders stacked in a four (4) wide by two (2) high configuration. <br />SCBA RACK LOCATION <br />The SCBA storage rack shall be located in the L-4 compartment. <br />The SCBA storage rack shall be mounted on the lowest compartment shelf/tray. <br />SCBA STORAGE RACK FINISH <br />The SCBA storage rack shall have a natural finish on the exterior surfaces. <br />SIDE RUB RAILS (ALUMINUM CHANNEL) <br />The lowest edge of the apparatus body side compartments shall be trimmed with brightly <br />anodized aluminum channel rub rail material. <br />The rub rails shall be approximately 3.00 inches high with flanges turned outwards for increased <br />rigidity, with each end chamfered to a 45 degree angle. The rub rails shall not be constructed as <br />an integral part of the apparatus body structure, allowing each rub rail to be easily removed in the <br />event of damage. <br />The rub rails shall be secured with stainless steel fasteners and spaced away from the apparatus <br />body with .50 inch nylon spacers, to help absorb moderate side impacts and prevent the collection <br />of water and debris for easier cleaning. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.089/Fire Apparatus Solutions (Purchase of Spartan-LTC 105' TDA) (Page 104 of 150)
