REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />OUTRIGGER/STABILIZER DEPLOYMENT WARNING ALARM <br />An audible warning device shall be provided to warn personnel in the vicinity of the apparatus that <br />the outriggers/stabilizers are in motion. <br />Whenever an outrigger/stabilizer control is actuated, the device shall produce a pulsing tone, <br />separate and distinctive from that of other audible warning systems provided on the apparatus. <br />When the control is returned to its neutral position, the signal shall cease. <br />The warning device shall automatically enable the dB level to be raised or lowered by <br />measurements of the ambient noise level. <br />OUTRIGGER LIGHTING AND REFLECTIVE STRIPING <br />Each outrigger shall be equipped with the following light and reflective striping package: <br />OUTRIGGER REFLECTIVE STRIPING <br />Retro-reflective material shall be provided and installed on both sides of the horizontal and vertical <br />beams of the outriggers. <br />OUTRIGGER LIGHTING <br />There shall be an LED ground illumination light located at each outrigger or downrigger location <br />to illuminate the footpad area. <br />A total of two (2) lights shall be provided. <br />The lights provided shall be TecNiq model T44 series, 4” round, 8 diode LED lights. <br />Tec Niq T40-R series LED red flashing lights shall be provided as warning lights when the <br />outrigger beams are extended. <br />Each stabilizer beam shall be equipped with a total of two (2) lights, one (1) facing forward and <br />one (1) facing rearward. The lights shall be mounted inboard of vertical jack tubes. <br />Both the foot pad illumination lights and the flashing outrigger warning lights shall be activated by <br />the aerial power switch in addition to the warning light being active in “Response” and “On Scene” <br />mode. <br />TURNTABLE/TURNTABLE DECK <br />The turntable shall be a fabricated steel weldment designed for the rotation and elevation of the <br />ladder sections. It shall consist of the following: <br />A steel bearing plate and matching top plate shall be machined to ensure proper fit to the rotation <br />bearing.
