REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />•Remote engine stop circuit shall be provided to shut down the chassis engine from the <br />aerial apparatus. The input for chassis engine shutdown shall be provided and <br />programmed by the OEM through the Weldon V-mux system. <br />•Additional master power circuit located at OEM chassis interface connector at least 12 <br />gauge in size and capable of supplying 20 amps. <br />•Additional communication connection for Weldon V-Mux multiplex system shall be <br />provided and located near the OEM chassis interface connector. <br />•Jackknife alarm shall be provided and located behind the left-hand rocker switch panel. <br />The input for jackknife alarm activation shall be provided and programmed by the OEM <br />through the Weldon V-mux system. <br />•Jackknife LED indicator lamp shall be provided and installed in the driver’s left-hand rocker <br />switch panel and labeled “Jackknife Approaching”. The jackknife indicator lamp shall <br />activate with jackknife alarm activation. <br />•A “1, 2, 3” alarm for “Stop, Go, Backup” shall be provided and located on the driver’s side <br />behind the left-hand rocker switch panel. The input for the “1, 2, 3” alarm activation shall <br />be provided and programmed by the OEM through the Weldon V-mux system. <br />•TDA start interlock circuit shall be provided to prevent chassis engine starter activation via <br />the cab start switch if certain requirements are not met by the TDA apparatus. The input <br />for activation of the TDA start interlock shall be provided and programmed by the OEM <br />through the Weldon V-mux system. <br />•TDA start override guarded momentary toggle switch shall be provided and installed <br />behind the left-hand rocker switch panel. The switch shall override the TDA start interlock <br />and allow engine starter activation. The switch shall be mounted on a bracket and labeled <br />“TDA Start Override”. <br />The custom chassis harness shall also include additional inputs/outputs for Neutral, Park Brake, <br />PTO Request, PTO Enable (input), and PTO Enable (output). <br />TRAILER ELECTRICAL CONNECTION <br />A seven (7) pin round electrical trailer electrical connection shall be provided with the chassis. <br />The wiring shall include a ground wire which shall be in the white cavity; wiring for marker lights <br />which shall be black; left turn signal wiring which shall be yellow, wiring for stop lights which shall <br />be red; right turn signal wiring which shall be green, additional marker lights which shall be brown <br />and ABS brake power which shall be in the blue cavity. <br />APPARATUS WIRING PROVISION <br />An apparatus wiring panel shall be installed in the center dash area behind the rocker switch <br />panel which shall include eight (8) open circuits consisting of three (3) 20 amp, one (1) 25 amp, <br />three (3) 10 amp, and one (1) 15 amp circuit, with relays and breakers with trigger wires which <br />shall be routed to the rocker switch panel. <br />LOAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br />The apparatus load management shall be performed by the included multiplex system.
