REV: 04-29-25 LF <br />diameter vent line installed from the top of the fuel tank to the fill tube. <br />Each fuel fill compartment shall be provided with a brushed finish stainless steel door with <br />magnetic latch. <br />WHEEL WELL PANELS <br />The body panel in the wheel well area on each side of the tiller body shall be fabricated of same <br />material type as the body and finish painted. <br />SCBA BOTTLE COMPARTMENTS <br />Cylindrical SCBA storage compartments shall be installed in the wheel well area above the wheel <br />well liner, protected from dirt, rocks, and other debris. <br />The storage compartments shall be made of a tube that interfaces with a door and housing - <br />fastened to the wheel well panel for a secure installation. The inside of each compartment shall <br />be lined with material (if required) to protect the air bottles from being damaged. <br />The storage compartments shall be installed in the apparatus at an inclined angle and incorporate <br />a 1” nylon safety loop to be attached to the top of the bottle, to prevent the bottles from sliding <br />forward when stored. There shall be holes drilled in the tubes for drainage in the event that water <br />enters the compartment. Each SCBA compartment shall be a minimum internal diameter of 7.5” <br />and be at least 25” deep. <br />There shall be storage provided for two (2) bottles on each side of the apparatus with one forward <br />and one rearward of the tiller trailer axle in each wheel well panel. <br />A brushed finish stainless steel door with a push button latch shall be provided for each location. <br />Each door shall be wired to the “Door Open” circuit in the cab. <br />FENDERETTES <br />Four (4) polished stainless steel fenderettes shall be provided, two (2) on the tractor rear wheel <br />well openings, one (1) each side and two (2) on the tiller trailer wheel well openings, one (1) each <br />side. Rubber welting shall be provided between the body and the crown to seal the seam and <br />restrict moisture from entering. A dielectric barrier shall be provided between the fender crown <br />fasteners (screws) and the fender sheet metal to resist deterioration. <br />STOKES STORAGE <br />Storage for a Fire Department supplied stokes stretcher shall be provided inside the transverse <br />lower area of the forward body compartment L1/R1. Black Poly sheeting shall be applied to the <br />floor to make extracting the Stokes easier. <br />SIDE RECEIVERS <br />There shall be rescue winch receiver tubes installed, one (1) each side, on the outrigger housing <br />at the front of the trailer.
