Annual Action Plan <br /> <br />6 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br /> <br />Goals 8 - Administration and Coordination: Fund the administration and oversight of <br />the City’s HOME and CDBG programs. This will include the coordination and <br />enhancement of private/public partnerships to best serve City residents. <br /> <br />Goal 9 - Fair Housing Services: Support fair housing services for Redwood City residents <br />and provide information on housing discrimination. <br /> <br />3. Evaluation of past performance <br /> <br />The City is currently in the second year (PY 2024) of its Five-Year Consolidated Plan that covers <br />program years 2023-2027. The projects funded under PY 2024 are underway and the City will <br />report their accomplishments in the summer/fall of 2025. The five-year goals for the 2023-2027 <br />Consolidated Plan are largely based on the accomplishments from the previous Consolidated <br />Plan (PY 2018-PY 2022). <br /> <br />In the 2023-2027 Consolidated Plan, the City established five priority areas and nine different <br />goals. The Consolidated Plan focused on improving affordable housing, homelessness, human <br />services, public facilities and economic development. Accomplishments from the first year <br />(PY2023) of the 2023-2027 Consolidated Plan include: <br /> <br /> <br />x Homeowner housing units rehabilitated – 9 units renovated <br />x Production of New Units – 1 new unit constructed <br />x Special Needs Housing Rehabilitated – 4 units renovated with accessibility modifications (2 <br />owner-occupied and 2 rental units) <br />x Support economic development initiatives – 63 businesses assisted <br />x Homeless Person Overnight Shelter (Homeless Services) - 790 people served <br />x Basic Human Needs Services - Public service activities other than low/mod income housing – 548 <br />people served <br />x Fair Housing Services – 22 people served <br />x Improve Public Facilities & Infrastructure – 0 completed (two ongoing projects from previous <br />action plan periods which will be reported on as they are completed) <br /> <br /> <br />4.
