5 <br />Redwood City has received $2.85 million in state <br />funding—its second grant from the Encampment <br />Resolution Funding (ERF) program—to help people <br />living in homeless encampments find housing and <br />support services. This grant will continue the <br />City’s outreach efforts, improve health and safety <br />in areas where encampments exist, and support <br />individuals living in encampments transition into <br />permanent, stable housing. <br />Learn more about the impact of our work and how this funding will be used in our <br />latest press release. <br />HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES <br />Middlefield Junction <br />Now Leasing! <br />Middlefield Junction, located at 2700 <br />Middlefield Road, is currently leasing! This <br />100% affordable housing project includes a <br />total of 179 units, containing a mix of one- <br />bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom <br />units. <br />These units will be available to households earning between 30% to 80% of the Area <br />Median Income. This project is being completed in two phases, with the first building <br />scheduled to be completed by summer 2025, and the second building scheduled to be <br />completed in 2026. Amenities include on-site property management and resident <br />services, community courtyards, on-site laundry, a community event space, and <br />outdoor play areas. <br />There are currently 28 one-bedroom units, 65 two-bedroom units, and 40 three- <br />bedroom units, for a total of 133 units available to lease now, with the remaining 46 <br />units becoming available in 2026. <br />Applications will be accepted until April 18, 2025 and a lottery for the available <br />units will be conducted on May 2, 2025.
