Page 2 of 5 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Measure W RTC Cycle 1 Program aims to fund projects that: <br />Increase regional transit services and enhance infrastructure to improve transit speed and <br />reliability <br />Establish more direct regional transit routes and supportive infrastructure to facilitate transit trips <br />with fewer or cheaper transfers to increase transit use and reduce congestion in major highway <br />corridors <br />Promote equitable regional transit programs, operations, and supportive infrastructure which <br />improve connectivity between transit operators, enhance customer experience, help provide off- <br />peak travel options, and increase safety for all riders <br />Develop a first/last-mile system that creates access for all ages and abilities to regional transit <br />stations and supports connected micromobility. <br />The RTC Cycle 1 program requires grantees to adhere to the following requirements: <br />Submit a governing board resolution in support of the project applications by June 27, 2025 <br />Provide a 10 percent minimum local match for all projects <br />Follow the minimum and maximum funding request per the program guidelines.
