REV: 07-08-25 VR <br />Technical specifications <br />Other project appropriate specifications and documents <br />Deliverables: 60 percent Design Drawings (PDF and Civil 3D CAD), Draft <br />specifications booklet (Word and PDF), Detailed cost estimate (PDF), Draft <br />bid schedule (PDF), and Draft Construction schedule (PDF). <br />Task 6. Environmental Documentation, up to $306,248 Time and Materials (T&M) <br />This task provides the environmental documentation to support environmental <br />resources permitting processes in anticipation of a potential future CEQA <br />document and NEPA document for the project. Tasks to be included under <br />environmental documentation are as follows: <br />Task 6.1 – Early Consultation with Permitting Agencies: Consultant to <br />directly engage with the following agencies to identify issues related to <br />species and water quality early in the project planning process: U.S. <br />Army Corps of Engineers, National Marine Fisheries Services, U.S. Fish <br />and Wildlife Services, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, San <br />Franciso Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board, and the San <br />Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission. The <br />consultant will provide a strategy demonstrating the timing of regulatory <br />engagement, including meeting purpose and required information, and <br />will develop meeting agendas and supporting materials. Consultant to <br />develop and maintain a permit matrix identifying anticipated permits. <br />Consultant will develop CEQA and NEPA outlines to guide completion of <br />Task 6. <br />Task 6.2 – Project Description: Consultant to include project objectives, <br />a description of proposed components, and describe each component in <br />sufficient detail to facilitate determination of the nature and scale of <br />environmental impacts for various alternatives, including area of <br />disturbance and construction equipment scenarios. The project <br />description will identify discretionary approvals by regulatory agencies. <br />Task 6.3 – Discussion of Alternatives: Based on Task 4, Consultant to <br />document sufficient information about each alternative to demonstrate <br />meaningful evaluation, analysis, and comparison with the proposed <br />project per CEQA/NEPA guidelines, including a no project alternative <br />and the environmentally superior alternative. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.172/Schaaf and Wheeler Consulting Civil Engineers (Redwood Shores Sea Level Rise Protection) (Page 18 of 36)
