A PCI of 100 is the highest level achievable. <br />ANALYSIS <br />This project was constructed on schedule and under budget. Construction of this project started in April <br />2025 and concluded in June 2025. The contractor completed construction of the improvements in <br />accordance with the agreement, plans, specifications, and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. <br />Figure 2: Redwood Avenue at Sanchez Way – Post-Construction <br />One contract change order, resulting in a cost decrease of $71,813 was issued for final quantity <br />adjustments. The final contract amount of $1,041,071 is 6.4 percent below the original contract amount <br />of $1,112,885. <br />EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT <br />This action is the next step in realizing the 2024 Pavement Overlay Project (Redwood Avenue) initially <br />presented to the City Council on January 27, 2025. Seventy percent of the rehabilitated sections of <br />Redwood Avenue are located within an Equity Priority Community (EPC), ensuring that improvements in <br />this area directly benefit a community in need of enhanced infrastructure. The project aligns with the <br />City’s broader goal of addressing disparities in access to quality transportation. Notably, approximately 25 <br />percent of the City’s street mileage falls within EPCs, underscoring the importance of prioritizing <br />7.G. - Page 3 of 5 <br />109
