For purposes of comparison in this table, the <br />current criteria have been consolidated into the general categories used in past years, but Attachment C <br />reflects the current criteria in detail. <br />A NOFA and Request for Proposals (RFP) for Fiscal Year 2025-26 was issued in December 2024. Staff <br />offered a technical assistance workshop in conjunction with the county-wide Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG)/HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funding technical assistance workshop on <br />January 8, 2025. Proposals for funding were due on January 21, 2025. At the time the NOFA was released, <br />the anticipated available funding for HSFA grants for FY2025-26 was $100,000. After the City Council <br />approved an increase in the available funding to $150,000 in the FY2025-26 budget, staff reached out to <br />existing applicants to give them the opportunity to amend their applications. The award amounts shown <br />in Attachments A and B reflect the amended applications. <br />In addition, at the City Council meeting on June 23, 2025, the City Council approved continuing support <br />for the LifeMoves Redwood Family House in Redwood City for $34,800 each year, allocating these funds <br />as part of the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services budget. This funding amount is in addition to <br />the funding available for HSFA. Additionally, at this meeting the City Council discussed the HSFA program <br />and suggested a possible joint study session with the HHCC about making possible changes to the HSFA <br />program. <br />ANALYSIS <br />HSFA Funding Recommendations <br />The HHCC made the following funding recommendations for the HSFA Program for FY 2025-2026. <br />$10,000 to Fresh Lifelines for Youth, Inc.
