•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public, other City <br />personnel, and outside agencies. <br />•Assist in the development and monitoring of an assigned program budget and <br />Department work plan. <br />•Prepare Write and present clear, and concise, and high-qualitycohesive <br />correspondence, planning and technical documents, and staff reports, ensuring <br />correct vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and punctuation and reports. <br />•Read and interpret architectural drawings and plans, maps, specifications and <br />reports. <br />•Write staff reports and correspondence. <br />•Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. <br />•Demonstrate initiative and exercise good judgment in the performance of <br />duties. <br />•Work independently and as a team member; recognize and set priorities and <br />meet milestones. <br />•Demonstrate professional and technical leadership by effectively managing <br />subordinate staff and complex projects. <br />•Perform tasks with a high degree of independence under supervision of the <br />Community Development Director or designee. <br />•Provide technical guidance and professional mentorship to subordinate staff <br />and supervisees, including building soft skills, supporting project <br />management, reviewing reports, and maintaining timeline s <br />•Assist in the development and monitoring of an assigned program budget and <br />Department work plan. <br />•Collect, analyze, and interpret data pertaining to transportation planning and <br />programming of funds. <br />•Understand relationships between the budget and resources, and comply with <br />financial and administrative controls and standards. Identify potential funding <br />sources and prepare grant proposals. <br />Meet appropriate physical demands necessary for adequate job performance. <br />Education and Experience and Training Guidelines: <br />Any combination of equivalent to experience and education that cwould likely <br />provide the required knowledge and abilities would is be qualifying.
