Focus group participants identified three key <br />reasons they don't participate in community <br />activities: a lack of transportation, cost, and not <br />knowing what is available. <br />COVID-19 disrupted many activities and <br />programs that are still in the process of <br />returning to normal. <br />Challenges <br />Social Participation <br />Assets & Challenges <br />Assets <br />Key Program <br />Harvest Pop-Up Social <br />Redwood City’s Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Department partnered with Peninsula <br />Family Services and the University of California <br />Master Gardener to offer a special social and <br />educational event for adults 55+ called the Harvest <br />Pop-Up Social.
