2. Permit Revocable. This permit is temporary in nature, <br />does not constitute a deed or grant of easement, is not trans- <br />ferable or assignable, and may be revoked without cause at any <br />time at the will of the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />effective immediately upon giving written notice of such <br />revocation to Permittee; such notice shall be deemed effective <br />if sent to, or deposited at, 3024 McGarvey Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California. <br />3. Purpose. Permittee may install, construct and maintain <br />gates and fences in conformance with all applicable laws, <br />statutes, ordinances, rules and regulations and said construction <br />shall be expressly subject to the approval of City's Building <br />Official. <br />4. Construction Requirements. The construction, installation <br />and maintenance of said gates and fences shall be at the sole cost <br />and expense of Permittee and Permittee shall maintain said gates <br />and fences in a state of good repair and in a neat and attractive <br />condition, likewise at its own cost and expense. <br />5. Relocation of Improvements. Permittee shall, upon <br />receipt of notice so to do, and within such time limit as may be <br />fixed by said notice, alter, remove or relocate at the expense <br />of Permittee the said improvements or any portion thereof to such <br />extent as may be necessary, in City's opinion, to avoid inter- <br />ference with any utility facility or other structure now or <br />hereafter to be constructed by the City, Pacific Gas and Electric <br />Company, Pacific Telephone Company, or any other public utility <br />upon the subject property. <br />6. Removal of Improvements. Permittee acknowledges and <br />agrees that upon revocation of this permit Permittee shall, at <br />-2- <br />
