REV: 11-21-25 LF <br />4.Consultant must advise and assist City Staff regarding acceptance or <br />rejection of Bids. <br />5.Contractor Prequalification: <br />a.If prequalification of construction contractors is required by City Staff, <br />Consultant must recommend prequalification criteria and assist City <br />Staff in preparation of the prequalification documents; and, <br />b.If requested by City Staff, Consultant must participate with City Staff in <br />evaluation of prequalification submittals. <br />F.Construction Phase <br />1.Project Meetings <br />a.If requested by City, Consultant must attend the following Construction <br />Phase meetings: <br />(1) Construction Phase in-house kick-off meeting <br />(2) Preconstruction Conference <br />(3) Coordination Meeting <br />(4) All Construction Phase Progress Meetings (prepare Minutes) <br />2.Site Visits <br />a.Consultant: <br />(1) Consultant will visit the Project site at a minimum frequency <br />requested by the City during the Construction Phase to observe the <br />work. <br />(2) Consultant must assist City Staff in evaluating the Contractor’s <br />progress against Contractor’s Progress Schedule. <br />(3) During site visits, Consultant must observe the current status of the <br />work, and prepare and furnish a detailed written report of conditions <br />observed, problems discussed, and decisions made. Copies of any <br />site visit reports must be sent to City Staff within five (5) calendar <br />days of each site visit. <br />b.Consultant, before leaving the Project site, must inform City Staff if <br />Consultant observes work that does not conform to the requirements of <br />the Contract Documents. When Consultant’s observations so indicate, <br />Consultant must recommend special inspection or testing of the work, <br />whether or not such work be then fabricated, installed, or completed. <br />c.Consultant’s Subconsultants <br />(1) The minimum number of site visits by Consultant’s subconsultants <br />will be mutually agreed upon with City prior to commencement of <br />any construction work. <br />(2) Additional site visits necessitated by Consultant’s error, omission, <br />unauthorized changes, or negligence, must be accomplished <br />without additional cost to City Staff. <br />(3) Additional site visits of Consultant’s subconsultants necessitated by <br />significant failure on the part of the Contractor to perform in <br />accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents will <br />be considered as additional services. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.320/YEI Engineers, Inc.
