Pump Station No. 9 (PS-9) also is located in Redwood Shores adjacent to 777 Martinique <br />Drive. <br />Figure 1: Project Location Map <br />On January 22, 2024, the City Council awarded the Sanitary Sewer Pump Station 8 & 9 Improvements <br />Project construction contract to Casey Construction Inc. for $3,118,510 with a $311,851 contingency. The <br />scope of work included replacing generators, pumps, electrical equipment and control cabinets, meters, <br />blowers, valve vaults, force mains, wet well coating, and the rehabilitation of the pump station site. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Project construction began in March 2024 and was complete in September 2025. During construction, at <br />the request of Public Works Services Department’s staff, Engineering and Transportation Department staff <br />approved two change orders. The total contract change order amount was $129,357. This is four percent <br />of the original contract. <br />Change Order No. 1: Removed trees impacting operation and maintenance at Pump Station No. <br />9.
