Install a public address system for the exclusive use of Fire Department personnel, peace <br />officers, or other City enforcement personnel according to specifications approved by the Fire Prevention Bureau. <br />Controls for, and access to, such system shall be installed on the ground floor of the building at a location subject to <br />the approval of the fire code official. Design system in accordance applicable edition with NFPA 72, National Fire Alarm <br />and Signaling Code as an in-building fire emergency voice alarm communication system. Voice appliances and systems <br />shall be capable of 520 Hz ± 10 percent with the appropriate harmonics. In residential occupancies, family and living <br />rooms are considered sleeping rooms. [CFC 907.2.12 and Redwood City Code of Ordinances §12.23][SDR] <br />Prior to Certificate of <br />Occupancy <br />F28 Public Safety Key Boxes. Provide approved Knox® key boxes adjacent to each building entrance. Public safety key <br />boxes shall be recessed and installed adjacent to each entrance within 60 to 72 inches of the finished walking surface. <br />There shall be four sets of keys: each set containing building access, fire equipment room access, fire cache room, <br />elevator keys, utility room keys and other keys essential for emergency operations. [CFC §506.1][SDR] <br />Prior to Certificate of <br />Occupancy <br />F29. Barricades or Obstructions across Emergency Access Roads. Prior to the installation or use of barricades, fences, or <br />gates across emergency vehicle access roads during construction, the applicant shall submit plans subject to the <br />review and approval of the Fire Marshal or his/her designee. <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance and <br />During Construction <br />F30. Address Numbers. The applicant shall post temporary address numbers on each building at the project site that must <br />be easily visible from the street or fire access road. <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance and <br />During Construction <br /> <br /># HOUSING Conditions Compliance <br />H1 Affordable Housing Agreement(s). Execute and record an Affordable Housing Agreement with the City against the <br />property restricting the rental of four units with one (1) unit rented to very low-income household, two (2) units <br />rented to low income households, and one (1) unit rented to moderate-income households at an Affordable Rent as <br />defined in Section 29.2 of Zoning Code. The affordable units shall be comprised of one (1) studio unit to a very-low <br />income household, one (1) studio unit to a low-income household, one (1) one-bedroom unit to a low-income <br />household, and one (1) one-bedroom unit to a moderate-income household for a period of 55 years from the date of <br />the certificate of occupancy. The Agreement shall specify the number, type, location, size, and phasing of all affordable <br />units, and provisions for setting rents, marketing, income certification, and screening of potential renters of units, <br />including the financing of ongoing administrative and monitoring costs, as applicable, consistent with the approved <br />Affordable Housing Plan. The Agreement shall be in a form acceptable to the City Attorney and the Community <br />Development Director.
