REV: 01-05-26 LR <br />2. Backup battery with battery life of at least 36 months and capable of <br />maintaining pay station operation for a period of up to 8 hours without AC <br />power. <br />3. Commercially available battery without voiding warranty. <br />4. Ability to replace battery in less than two minutes with no tools required. <br />5. Programmable low battery alerts. <br />6. Separate backup battery to sustain clock, calendar, audit information and <br />RAM in the event of a system failure or during battery replacement. <br />K. Communication <br />1. Offeror must perform independent site evaluation to determine optimal <br />communications mode(s). <br />2. It is the responsibility of the vendor to test and confirm reliable power and <br />communication from all MSM locations. <br />3. Standard communications mode to be hard-wired TCP/IP-Ethernet over <br />CAT6. <br />4. Optional cellular data connection at LTE speeds or higher, either as primary <br />or backup communications mode. <br />L. Receipt Printer and Electronic Receipts <br />1. Capable of printing standard and variable length receipts and reports. <br />2. Receipt offered and issued upon completion of transaction, if selected by <br />payee. <br />3. Option for payee to select printed or electronic receipt. For the latter, ability <br />for payee to enter a phone number to which e-receipt will be texted. <br />4. Minimum information provided on receipt: <br />a. Amount of transaction. <br />b. Indication if payment was via credit card or cash. <br />c. Unique identification number for adding time, adjudication, and audit <br />control. <br />d. Plate number. <br />e. Time and date purchased. <br />f. Expiration time and date. <br />g. Meter number. <br />h. A QR/bar code which contains the essential transaction information <br />(for potential later usage at validation stations). <br />5. Ability to replace receipt paper roll in less than one minute with no tools. <br />M.
