REV: 01-05-26 LR
6. Provide short-term, conditioned/emergency power through TCP/IP-enabled
UPS units for the following headend components to protect components
from loss of power, power spikes, and power sags:
a. PARCS Workstations
b. PARCS Servers
c. PARCS network switches/gateways/firewalls
d. Fixed LPR cameras (powered by POE from headend switches)
7. UPS battery back-up sized to last forty-five (45) minutes.
8. Facilitate a 30% expanded load with an 80% continuous load factor.
9. On-line, solid state UPS that provides both backup power and transient
surge protection.
10. Determine the UPS backup requirements for each of the locations where
UPS backup is required, based upon the equipment that is being supplied
by the Contractor. Owner to review and approve the UPS units to be
provided by the Contractor.
2.3 SOURCE QUALITY CONTROL
A. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
1.It is required that adequate documentation of the proper functioning of the
equipment in its complete, originally manufactured state be conducted by
the Contractor prior to delivery of equipment to the project site. Such
testing, known as a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), is meant to ensure
that all equipment is known and demonstrated to be working correctly via
a documented FAT procedure and a certificate of completion of FAT is
provided to the Owner prior to delivery of the equipment.
2.All equipment is to have successfully passed formal manufacturing FATs
and quality assurance inspections to validate compliance with these
functional specifications prior to shipment to the project site.
3.Records for formal internal Contractor FAT and inspection for performance,
materials quality and/or workmanship are to be produced by the
Contractor and sent as formal project submittals to Owner for review prior
to shipment of equipment to the project site. Equipment is not to be
released for shipment until Owner has approved the FAT submittals.
4.Contractor is also to have readily available proof of product reliability
analysis and testing should reliability become a problem at any time from
the beginning of installation testing through the final operational test
period.
5.Owner or Owner’s agent will not physically be present at Contractor’s facility
for the FAT. FAT is to be conducted solely by Contractor’s personnel.
ATTY/AGR.2026.001/EnSight Technologies (Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS)) (Page 57 of 167)
