REV: 01-05-26 LR <br />3.1 INSTALLATION <br />A. Perform installation of LPR System in accordance with manufacturer's <br />recommendations. <br />B. Installation and Start-Up: Contractor is to install all Contractor-supplied <br />equipment and its interfacing and interconnection with Owner-supplied <br />equipment. Contractor is to perform all physical equipment installation and <br />associated electrical or civil work. <br />C. Contractor is responsible for all software and communications by all computers <br />and peripheral devices. <br />D. Owner or Owner’s Representative may observe installation process and stop the <br />work at any time throughout the process. <br />3.2 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />A. Provide an Acceptance Testing Plan to demonstrate the functionality of the <br />system. <br />1. Include demonstrations of compliance with all specifications, contractual <br />compliance, definitions of all test objectives, participant responsibilities, <br />documentation of tests and procedures for dealing with failures during test. <br />2. Detail tests for every functional requirement of the system, including PbC <br />integration. <br />a. Include checklist for specified supplies, spare parts, training operation <br />and training manuals. <br />b. Provide space for acceptance by Contractor and Owner or Owner’s <br />representative. <br />3. Confirm that all specified features are provided and fully operational before <br />scheduling Acceptance Testing with Owner and/or Owner’s Agent. <br />4. Notify Owner or Owner’s Representative in writing at least one week prior <br />to test session. If a test is not successful, correct noted deficiencies and <br />advise Owner or Owner’s Representative, at least two days in advance, that <br />test session is ready to resume. <br />5. Owner or Owner’s Representative may witness tests. <br />B. Passing Acceptance testing, even if performed in the presence of the Owner or <br />Owner’s Representative, does not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to <br />provide a system in accordance with the Specifications. <br />C. Promptly correct all problems encountered at no cost to the Owner. <br />D.
