REV: 12-19-25 VR
o Solicit and analyze feedback about the ERG spaces: E&R will continue to use surveys,
zoom polls, and other mechanisms to regularly solicit qualitative and quantitative feedback
from ERG-members and to use the collected data in real time/ongoing to identify
opportunities for continuous improvement.
Deliverable III: Implementation of City Mentorship Opportunities to Support Workforce
Belonging
Year 1 (2025-2026)
o Planning and design of Mentorship Program: E&R will meet with City staff project
leads and key consultant support to better understand the history and status of existing
mentorship efforts and plan for the path forward.
o Facilitate mentor/mentee trainings and support Community of Practice: E&R will build on
the history and success of the existing mentorship program by designing and facilitating
mentor/mentee orientations and sessions that serve both as trainings and opportunities
for connection in a mini Community of Practice. We envision three 60-90 min (virtual)
sessions at the beginning, middle, and end of the mentorship program year where
participants are both mentors and mentees that start as a large group for some
community-building and then break out into separate Zoom rooms for Mentors and
Mentees, with a separate facilitator/trainer in each room.
o Solicit and analyze feedback about the mentorship spaces: E&R will use surveys, zoom
polls, and other mechanisms to regularly solicit qualitative and quantitative feedback from
mentors and mentees. We will use the collected data in real time/ongoing to report back
to staff and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Year 2 (2026-2027)
o Reflect on What’s working/not with Mentorship Program: E&R will meet with City staff
project leads to analyze and make-meaning of the data from Year 1 and adjust, as
necessary/appropriate for the greatest impact possible.
o Facilitate mentor/mentee trainings and support Community of Practice: E&R will build on
the lessons from Year 1 to inform the ongoing design and facilitation plan for Year 2. As
of now, we envision three 60-90 min (virtual) sessions at the beginning, middle, and end
of the mentorship program year where participants are both mentors and mentees that
start as a large group for some community-building and then break out into separate Zoom
rooms for Mentors and Mentees, with a separate facilitator/trainer in each room.
o Solicit and analyze feedback about the mentorship spaces: E&R will use surveys, zoom
polls, and other mechanisms to regularly solicit qualitative and quantitative feedback from
mentors and mentees.
