REV: 12-03-25 LR <br />Task 2 – Existing Conditions and Project Evaluation <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the Engineer or their designee to review existing available data <br />for design. Subconsultant will collect new vehicular and traffic data to inform the project. <br />Consultant shall conduct a walk audit field review to verify existing visible equipment and <br />infrastructure such as existing lane geometry and physical roadway features, curb ramps, <br />sidewalk geometry, trees, driveways, visible utilities, traffic signal controller cabinets, signal <br />poles, pull boxes, and other traffic signal features. The walk audit field review shall also be used <br />to gather critical information for the design including adjacent land uses and potential <br />accessibility issues. The walk audit will be conducted with City staff and County staff, and <br />potential stakeholders if the City Engineer or their designee would prefer that inclusion. <br />The City Engineer or their designee will provide the following data to the Consultant: <br />Available as-built plans, including existing irrigation point(s) of connection, and street <br />lighting plans <br />Any available topographic data and traffic count data <br />Boilerplate front-end specifications and sample technical specifications <br />ROW coordination with property owners to obtain any needed Permission to Enter <br />Previously approved documents and/or studies related to the project site, including <br />previous concept plan in AutoCAD format <br />Recommended site furnishings such as design plans and/or cut sheets for all proposed <br />site amenities such as, but not limited to: shade structures, benches, trash receptacles <br />and wayfinding signage <br />Utility potholing is not anticipated to be needed for this project. <br />Task 2.1 – Data Collection and Field Visit <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the City Engineer or their designee to compile existing available <br />data for traffic evaluation which includes any existing traffic count data, traffic speed, and <br />collision data. If need to have new data, Consultants will advise if new data is needed. If such <br />occurs, subconsultant will collect the following traffic data: <br />AM (7-9) and PM (4-6) peak hour turning movements counts for up to four (4) <br />intersections <br />12-hour (7AM-7PM) turning movements counts for the intersection of Bay Road/Spring <br />Street/15th Avenue <br /> 24-hour volume and speed data for up to two (2) locations <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.333/Kimley-Horn (Bay Road Complete Streets) (Page 13 of 50)
