REV: 12-03-25 LR <br />Consultant shall coordinate with the City Engineer or their designee to collect existing available <br />data for design including the following items: <br />Utility Contacts and Utility Maps <br />As-builts (Utility, Roadway and Traffic signal) <br />Property Lines <br />Sample Technical Specifications <br />City Standard Details <br />Using a current utility contact list provided by the City Engineer or their designee, Consultant <br />shall submit utility request letters to utility companies with potential facilities in the project <br />vicinity. Consultant shall draft the utility request letters for the City to be placed on City <br />letterhead and submitted to the utility company. <br />Consultant shall conduct a field review on site with the following objectives: <br />Verify the completeness of the topographic survey (Task 2.3) and to review it in the field <br />to better understand constraints that could conflict with the proposed design such as <br />excessive slopes, drainage structures and utilities <br />Verify existing visible equipment and infrastructure such as existing lane geometry and <br />physical roadway features, curb ramps, sidewalk geometry, trees, driveways, visible <br />utilities, traffic signal controller cabinets, signal poles, pull boxes, and other traffic signal <br />features. The field review will also be used to gather critical information for the design <br />including adjacent land uses and potential accessibility issues. <br />Task 2.2 Traffic Evaluation <br />Consultant shall conduct existing traffic condition evaluation utilizing data collected in Task 2.1. <br />This traffic evaluation shall include intersection level of service, intersection queuing, collision <br />analysis, all-way stop or signal warrants, and speed analysis to identify location for possible traffic <br />calming improvements. Consultant shall summarize the results in a draft existing condition <br />technical memorandum which includes tables, charts, and figures for existing conditions. The <br />draft memorandum shall be submitted to the City Engineer or their designee for review. Based <br />on one set of non-conflicting comments from the City Engineer or their designee, Consultant shall <br />revise the draft memorandum and submit a final technical memorandum. <br />Deliverables will include: <br />Draft Traffic Existing Condition Evaluation <br />Final Traffic Existing Condition Evaluation <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.333/Kimley-Horn (Bay Road Complete Streets) (Page 14 of 50)
