REV: 12-03-25 LR <br />- Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) Meeting and Presentation: One (1) TAC meeting <br />is included in this plan to allow for ample discussion of the technical components of the <br />project, the public outreach process and feedback received, and the geometric designs. <br />- Unincorporated San Mateo County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee: One (1) <br />meeting is included in this plan to allow for ample discussion of the technical components of <br />the project, the public outreach process and feedback received, and the geometric designs. <br />- North Fair Oaks Community Council Presentation: One (1) meeting is included to present the <br />project to the North Fair Oaks Community council. <br />- Project Website Support: Consultant shall support the City Engineer or their designee with <br />project narratives, exhibits and descriptions to include on the project website. This includes <br />any graphics and presentations created to support the Community Outreach Meetings. <br />Public meeting notices shall be prepared in English and Spanish. <br />Task 4 – Conceptual Plans <br />Task 4.1 – Conceptual Plans <br />Consultants shall develop up to two (2) Concept Plans for Bay Road between 5th and 15th Avenues <br />based on the survey performed as part of Task 2. <br />-The concept design plans shall show the proposed design layouts for the complete streets <br />improvement, including potential cycle track, accessibility upgrades and other horizontal <br />traffic calming features as well as striping improvements. <br />-The Concept Plan shall consider potential stormwater implications. <br />-The Concept Plan will be used for the first community outreach and for stakeholder outreach; <br />a preferred alternative will be selected after receiving neighborhood feedback. <br />-The concept’s intent will be to convey overall proposed scope of improvements, identify any <br />challenges with the proposed design, explore the feasibility of design recommendations and <br />note any impacts to existing features. <br />Task 4.2 – Conceptual Plan Traffic Evaluation <br />Consultant shall conduct traffic analysis to evaluate the two (2) concept plans developed in Task <br />4.1. The traffic evaluation shall compare existing traffic and safety operations with proposed <br />improvements. Tables and graphs shall be created and presented to City staff to assist with <br />refining conceptual plans or to present at neighborhood outreach meetings. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.333/Kimley-Horn (Bay Road Complete Streets) (Page 19 of 50)
