REV: 2-24-26 LR <br />Engineer or their designee by telephone and Consultant's Site Manager or <br />Assistant Site Manager shall report to the Garages as needed and will execute the <br />emergency plan as approved. If the City Engineer or their designee cannot be <br />reached, Consultant shall make continued efforts to reach an authorized City <br />representative until an authorized City representative has been notified. The City <br />operator is available 24 hours a day and can be reached at 650-780-7118 or <br />contact 911, or as directed by the City's City Engineer or their designee. This will <br />be detailed in the Emergency Plan. <br />Consultant shall immediately erect and maintain such temporary signs, barricades, <br />lights and other devices as may be necessary to warn people of any dangerous or <br />defective conditions and shall take such actions as may be necessary to <br />reasonably protect people from injury, loss or damage, which might result because <br />of any such condition. <br />Any time a dangerous or defective condition may reasonably be known by <br />Consultant to exist in any of the sites, Consultant shall immediately take necessary <br />protective action by calling the Public Works Services Department at 650-780- <br />7464 and immediately notifying the City Engineer or their designee by telephone <br />and in writing of such condition and protective action. <br />Dangerous or Defective Conditions—Repairs <br />If Consultant is instructed by the Public Works Services Department that identified <br />conditions within the Garages are outside of their scope of duties, the Consultant <br />shall, without delay, coordinate with the City Engineer or their designee to develop <br />a plan to address such repairs and do all other things as may be necessary to <br />eliminate any dangerous or defective conditions in the Garages that may at any <br />time be reasonably known by Consultant to exist. <br />Under emergency conditions (i.e., power outage(s), flooding, fire, natural <br />catastrophe or any other unanticipated condition that would disrupt normal <br />operations of the Garages or imperil customers or staff) should the Consultant be <br />unable to make such repairs, Consultant shall, without delay, notify the Public <br />Works Service Department at 650-780-7464, if possible, and implement the <br />emergency plan procedures. The City Engineer or their designee shall be advised <br />in writing of such condition and any remedial action taken by the Contactor. <br />Security of the Garages <br />Consultant shall be monitor the security CCTV and intercom systems in the Garages, <br />assist customers via intercom, and coordinate with the security services for the Garages <br />in respect to all security system calls and any other customer complaints pertaining to <br />security. Consultant may be asked by City Engineer or their designee to supplement <br />staffing with patrol services on the sites as conditions change and are needed. <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.049/ACE Parking Inc.
