Facilities <br /> <br />1. Fire Stations <br /> <br />San Carlos shall retain ownership of, and provide for use by Redwood City, <br />the following: <br /> <br />a. Fire Station 13 and associated fixtures* (525 Laurel Street., <br />San Carlos, CA) <br /> <br />b. Fire Station 16 and associated fixtures* (1280 <br />Alameda de Las Pulgas, San Carlos, CA) <br /> <br />*Fixtures to include, but not be limited to, exercise equipment, <br />refrigerators, stoves, compressors and electric generators. <br /> <br />San Carlos shall perform all routine maintenance and repairs on the Fire <br />Stations in order to keep the Fire Stations in good working order, to all Cal and Fed <br />OSHA requirements, and in a manner consistent with a clean and functional work <br />environment. Items noted in the San Carlos Civic Facilities Master Plan dated <br />March 16, 2012 (the “Plan”), are to be completed by San Carlos as set forth in the <br />Plan. In addition, the Redwood City Fire Department may recommend <br />improvements to the San Carlos Fire Station 13 and Fire Station 16. San Carlos <br />has completely rebuilt Station 16 as part of the implementation of the Plan. <br /> <br />San Carlos shall directly, and at its sole cost, pay all charges for utilities <br />associated with Fire Station 13 and Fire Station 16 including, but not limited to: <br />water, sewer, electric, gas, pest control, landscape and trash collection. <br /> <br />San Carlos shall provide all necessary office equipment and furnishings <br />(beds, night stands, bedroom desks, training room tables, chairs, kitchen tables, <br />and day room furnishings, etc.) currently existing in the Fire Stations as of the <br />Effective Date of this Agreement. Replacement thereof by San Carlos shall be by <br />mutual agreement of Redwood City and San Carlos. The Redwood City Fire <br />Department may recommend additional equipment and furnishings to the San <br />Carlos Fire Station 13 and Fire Station 16. <br /> <br />2.
