Estimated elevator modernization timelines. <br />3) Review Meeting (one meeting) <br />Attend one (1) virtual meeting with City staff to present assessment report findings <br />and answer questions. <br />Phase 2 – Turnkey Modernization Construction Documents <br />1) 50% Construction Documents <br />a. Prepare a detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the turnkey elevator <br />modernization, including the following: <br />i. Instructions to bidders <br />ii. Bid Form in excel and PDF format <br />iii. Summary of Work <br />iv. Modernization procedures <br />v. Submittals <br />vi. Included building related work (Fire Alarm, Electrical Upgrades, <br />Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) <br />vii. Continuing maintenance <br />b. Prepare comprehensive, performance based, vertical transportation <br />modernization specifications for the four (4) Elevators on site, including the <br />following: <br />i. Criteria relating to quality of equipment <br />ii. Approved products <br />iii. Performance requirements (floor-to-floor times, door times, ride <br />quality, noise requirements, etc.) <br />iv. Components required for replacement, refurbishment or retention. <br />v. Compliance with national and local accessibility codes <br />vi. Compliance with prevailing codes enforced by Authority Having <br />Jurisdiction (AHJ) <br />c. Submit a 50% completion set of Progress Documents in PDF format to City <br />Engineer or designee for review and comments. <br />2) 100% Construction Documents <br />Incorporate comments from the City Engineer or their designated representative(s) <br />and issue the final bid-ready specifications and documents for all four elevators. <br />Phase 3 – Bidding Assistance <br />1) Distribute RFP and Conduct Prebid Walk-Through <br />a.
