REV: 03-02-26 VR <br />b. Conduct on-site pre-bid meeting and jobsite walk-through <br />2) Respond to Requests for Information (RFI’s) <br />a. Provide written clarification responses to prospective bidders and issue <br />addendum if needed. <br />3) Bid Tabulation and Evaluation & Meeting <br />a. Assist in the evaluation of the bids, develop a bid tabulation sheet to <br />summarize received bids, and produce a letter summarizing the bids. <br />b. Attend one (1) virtual meeting to discuss bid review and recommendations <br />with City staff <br />Phase 4 – Construction Phase Services during Modernization <br />1) Pre-Construction Meeting (one meeting) <br />a. Conduct a virtual preconstruction conference, via Microsoft Teams or other <br />virtual platform, to review with the contractor each work item, quality control, <br />and phasing of the modernization to be performed. <br />2) Submittal / Shop Drawing Review <br />a. Review initial shop drawings and material submittals and one (1) <br />resubmission for general conformance with the intent of the Construction <br />Documents. <br />3) Progress Reviews <br />a. Include one (1) on-site progress observation visit per elevator to review <br />modernization for general conformance with the Construction Documents. <br />b. Produce a field report to City Engineer or designee after the progress review <br />visit is performed documenting the work observed and any clarifications to <br />the Construction Documents <br />4) Conflict Resolution <br />a. Coordinate with the Contractor during modernization to help resolve <br />technical or modernization design issues that may arise related to the scope <br />of work. <br />b. Review and comment on up to two (2) Change Orders related to the <br />Contract Documents and design information. <br />5) Final Reviews <br />a. Perform two punch-list closeout reviews (1 per elevator) for conformance <br />with Contract Documents and design information provided. <br />b.
