Adopt a Resolution amending the City's Classification and Salary and Wage Plan to establish <br />the new classifications of Project READ Aide, Transportation Manager, Police Officer II, Police <br />Officer III, Police Sergeant II, Police Sergeant III, Police Lieutenant II, and Police Lieutenant III, and <br />to amend job descriptions for Project READ Assistant, Police Officer with title change to Police <br />Officer I, Police Sergeant with title change to Police Sergeant I, and Police Lieutenant with title <br />change to Police Lieutenant I; and <br />2. Proposed suspension of Mills Act Contract application intake (612) <br /> <br />Senior Planner Ryan Kuchenig gave a presentation. <br /> <br />The following members of the public provided comments: <br />• Glenn Babbit <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, direct staff to 1) pause the intake of new Mills Act Contract applications, 2) study and <br />analyze potential updates to the Historic Preservation Ordinance and Mills Act Contract program, <br />and 3) return to the City Council with recommendations on such updates. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />The proposed action is not considered a project within the meaning of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), because the action involves organizational or administrative <br />activity that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment per CEQA <br />Guidelines Section 150378 (b). <br /> <br /> <br />7.A. - Page 4 of 11 <br />7
