<br /> PART I, Page | 13 <br />• Behavioral Health Supports <br />- Cannabis substance use treatment for youth <br />- Trauma-informed group or individual services <br />- Case management and wraparound supports <br />• Justice Related Supports <br />- Juvenile record expungement clinics <br />- Diversion programs that redirect youth from justice involvement <br />• Outreach and Engagement <br />- Youth outreach programs in schools, community centers, and <br />neighborhoods <br />- Culturally responsive engagement strategies tailored to local needs <br /> <br />➢ PPA 3: Intended Outcomes <br />Projects should demonstrate how activities will: <br />• Reduce youth cannabis use and related harms. <br />• Strengthen protective factors and resilience. <br />• Improve youth engagement in school, family, and community. <br />• Increase access to culturally relevant prevention and intervention services. <br />• Support positive youth development and long-term wellbeing. <br /> <br />➢ PPA 3: Partnership Expectations <br />Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with: <br />• Schools and school-based service providers <br />• Youth serving community-based organizations <br />• Behavioral and mental health providers <br />• Family support and caregiver organizations <br />• Culturally rooted community groups <br />• Local government youth programs or youth advisory councils <br />• Justice partners supporting diversion or expungement services <br /> <br />Project Purpose Area 4: Environmental Impacts <br />Projects funded under this purpose area must support environmental protection and <br />mitigation strategies that address the harms associated with illicit cannabis activity. <br />Environmental impact work focuses on preventing human injury, protecting natural <br />resources, and reducing exposure to hazardous physical, chemical, and biological agents <br />in air, water, soil, food, and other environmental settings. <br /> <br />➢ PPA 4: Purpose <br />To strengthen a jurisdiction’s capacity to identify, evaluate, and mitigate <br />environmental hazards resulting from cannabis-related activities.
