REV: 02-06-26 LF <br />c. Reporting. Consultant will prepare and submit to City, reports, conclusions and <br />recommendations for short-term actions and long-term work plans. The following <br />reports are due to the City per the deadlines listed below: <br />•Weekly Work Plan Report – Consultant will submit a plan in writing within <br />24-hours following a Lagoon Monitoring Event. This report will outline all <br />planned activities necessitated by the findings of the monitoring event <br />conducted for the corresponding week. Monitoring events will be conducted <br />on the first day of the work week. Work plans will outline planned activities <br />for all remaining days of the week. <br />•Monthly – Consultant will provide to City copies of monthly use reports <br />submitted to the San Mateo County Department of Agriculture for chemical <br />treatment. Due no later than 15 days after date of submission. <br />•Monthly – Consultant will provide compilation of Weekly Work Plans <br />including before and after photos, for each activity (e.g. monitoring / survey, <br />spraying, harvesting, trash/cleanup, etc.). Invoices will not be considered <br />substitutes for monthly, or weekly reports. Due no later than 15 days after <br />end of reporting month. <br />•November 15- End of season summary- Consultant will provide an end of <br />season summary, indicating: plant growth observations and trends, total <br />amounts of trash and debris collected, locations most frequently impacted <br />and any recommendations to alleviate the cause or reduce the source. <br />Provide assessment of control strategies and recommendations for the <br />coming year. <br />d. Mechanical/Manual Harvesting. Following the draft Lagoon Management Plan: <br />Redwood Shores Lagoon, July 2003 <br />(http://www.redwoodcity.org/home/showdocument?id=1802) and all future plan <br />updates, set schedules, notify and advise the City on recommended harvesting <br />activities. Provide skilled staff, equipment and materials to carry out work safely and <br />pursuant to County, State and Federal laws. All mechanical harvesters will be cleaned <br />prior to deployment to reduce the risk of introducing new invasive species into the <br />Lagoon. Consultant will notify City staff 24 hours prior to any planned deployment. City <br />staff will be allowed to conduct a visual inspection of equipment prior to use. <br />e. Material Disposal. Consultant will be responsible for disposal of all debris, trash, plant <br />and algae material removed from the Lagoon. City may provide temporary storage <br />area for materials during work season. Disposal costs will be reimbursed by weight. <br />All plant material should be as dry as possible prior to disposal. Receipts and dump <br />tags will be required for reimbursement. All materials will be disposed of annually no <br />later than October 31.
