These models <br />are used for training purposes only. <br />Fiscal Impacts: Unknown what the original cost was. No ongoing cost. <br />Legal/Procedural Rules Governing Use: All applicable State, Federal and Local laws <br />governing police use of force. Various Redwood City Police Department Policies on Use of <br />Force and Crowd Control. <br />Training Required: Officers providing training with these devices are POST certified. <br />Other Notes: These launchers are obsolete having been replaced by the 40mm launchers <br />but are still used for training as they are similar in operation and effect to the 40mm.
