Should this summary contain any information inconsistent <br />with the laws governing relocation assistance, the applicable laws and corresponding regulations will take precedence. The <br />City’s Relocation Assistance Program must follow federal regulations as cited in the Federal Law (the Uniform Act) its <br />regulations, and applicable State of California Relocation Law and Regulations. <br />Relocation Assistance Program Assurances <br />Uniform Treatment <br />Fair Program Implementation <br />Equitable Assistance <br />Relocation Assistance Program Information and Assistance <br />No Displaced Person will Suffer Disproportionate Injury as a Result of a Project Designed <br />to Benefit the Public as a Whole <br />Minimum 90-Day Advance Notice of Required Move <br />Right to Appeal <br />The City’s Relocation Assistance Program establishes a uniform policy for the fair and equitable treatment of persons <br />displaced as a direct result of programs and projects undertaken with Federal financial assistance. The primary purpose of <br />the Relocation Assistance Program is to ensure that persons would not suffer disproportionate injuries as a result of programs <br />and projects designed for the benefit of the public as a whole and to minimize the hardship of displacement. <br />For a full description of the City’s Relocation Assistance Program, please see the attached Non-Residential Relocation <br />Assistance brochure in Appendix B of this report. <br />A.Relocation Advisory Assistance <br />Relocation Advisors will work closely with each eligible entity to help them through the Relocation process. Each eligible <br />entity will receive written notification about their eligibility to receive assistance under the City’s Relocation Assistance <br />Program. <br />B.Moving Cost Payment <br />Each eligible entity will receive assistance with the cost to disconnect, move, and reconnect their personal property. <br />C.Reestablishment Payment <br />Eligible small businesses can receive up to $33,200 to help with the cost to reestablish their small business. <br />D.Alternative In-Lieu Payment <br />Eligible small businesses can receive a payment of up to $53,200 in lieu of other Moving and Reestablishment costs. <br />ATTY/RESO.0015/CC RESO APPROVING THE RELOCATION IMPACT MEMORANDUM FOR THE 84/101 REIMAGINED PROJECT - EXHIBIT A <br />REV: 04-20-26 VR <br />Page 4 of 34
