Transient and tourist hotel occupancies <br />Chapter 3: Requirement to Offer Minimum Lease Terms <br />3.1 Offer of one year lease and noticing requirement <br />1. Landlords must offer a written lease with a minimum term of one-year to all <br />prospective tenants. Signing the lease, which has a minimum term of 1 year, is <br />considered a written offer. <br /> <br />2. Landlords are required to provide all prospective tenants with a notice summarizing <br />their rights to a minimum one-year lease. The notice provided to a prospective tenant <br />must include the following text, which must be capitalized in at least 12 point font <br />size. <br />THE REDWOOD CITY CODE PROVIDES YOU WITH THE RIGHT TO MINIMUM <br />LEASE TERMS. LANDLORDS MUST OFFER TENANTS THE OPTION TO ENTER <br />INTO A ONE (1) YEAR WRITTEN LEASE.
