The appeal form must be filed with the City Clerk’s Office through one of the <br />following methods: <br />i. E-mail: Clerk2@redwoodcity.org (include the Subject: Relocation <br />Assistance Application Denial Appeal) <br /> <br />ii. Mail addressed to <br /> <br />1. City of Redwood City <br />City Clerk’s Office <br />1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City CA 94063 <br /> <br />iii. In person at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />during City Hall business hours. City Hall business hours can be found <br />on the City’s website at https://www.redwoodcity.org/about-the- <br />city/contact-us. Appeals will only be accepted during this time. <br />e. City will date stamp all appeals received and the City’s date stamp will be <br />the definitive determination of the submission date to the City. <br />f. Please allow sufficient time for mail to be received by deadline. <br />g. The City will review the appeal, and the City Manager, or their designee, will <br />provide a determination on the appeal within 10 business days of receipt of <br />the written appeal. <br />h. Notice of the City’s determination will be sent to the tenant and landlord <br />through the online portal, by email and mail. <br />i. The determination of the City Manager or their designee shall be the final <br />decision of the City and is not subject to further administrative review or <br />appeal. <br />j. Failure to appeal in writing within the prescribed time constitutes a waiver of <br />the right to appeal. <br />5.4 Landlord Requirements <br />1. Notice to Tenant - As noted in section 4.3 above, landlords terminating a tenancy for <br />a no-fault just cause must provide tenants with a copy of the “Notice to Tenant – <br />Right to Relocation Assistance” form. This form is mandatory for use by landlords <br />and can be found on the City’s website at www.RedwoodCity.org/TPO under the <br />Notices and Forms” section <br /> <br /> <br />8.A. - Page 43 of 85 <br />301
