PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> 8.A. Requests by Stanford Health Care to initiate amendments to the Redwood City General <br />Plan and the Stanford in Redwood City Precise Plan for the Stanford Medicine Cancer <br />Center located at 550 Broadway, 575-585 Broadway, and 1201 Douglas Avenue <br /> (601) Reso 16397 <br /> <br />Council Member Chu stated that due to being employed by the applicant, she is recused <br />from participating in the item. <br /> <br />Council Member Gee stated that due to his employer performing work for the applicant, <br />he is recused from participating in the item. <br /> <br />Council Member Sturken stated that due to being employed by the applicant, he is <br />recused from participating in the item. <br /> <br />Council Members, Chu, Gee and Sturken left the dais. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Jeff Schwob introduced the item, and Senior Planner <br />Ruan Kuchenig gave the staff presentation. <br /> <br />The applicants, Stanford Health Care Chief Operating Officer Rick Shumway, Assistant <br />Vice President of Government Affairs Lucy Wicks, and Director of Land Use and Licensing <br />Molly Swenson gave a presentation. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing.
