Attachment A <br />Page 3 <br />symphonic and contemporary performance at the Fox Theatre. The family-friendly event is designed to <br />engage audiences of all ages through an accessible and interactive live music experience while <br />expanding opportunities for residents to connect with the performing arts and enjoy a unique cultural <br />event in downtown Redwood City. <br />Funding Requested: $5,000 Funding Recommended: $4,000. <br />Woodside High School Music Booster Organization. The Woodside High School Music Booster <br />Organization requests funding to support the purchase of new uniforms for the Woodside High School <br />Marching Band, the only marching band in the Sequoia Union High School District. The project will <br />replace aging uniforms that are beyond their useful life with modern, durable uniforms that will better <br />serve student musicians for years to come. The marching band provides free performances at football <br />games, parades, and community events throughout Redwood City, Woodside, and surrounding <br />communities, expanding access to arts and music while fostering youth participation and community <br />pride. <br />Funding Requested: $5,000 Funding Recommended: $3,900. <br />Woodside Musical Theatre. Funding is requested to support the production of Something Rotten, a <br />volunteer-driven musical featuring a live orchestra and a diverse cast of youth and adult performers, <br />expanding access to high-quality community theater in Redwood City. The production will provide six <br />performances and create opportunities for community members of all ages to participate both onstage <br />and behind the scenes. <br />Funding Requested: $5,000 Funding Recommended: $4,250. <br />7.B. - Page 7 of 7 <br />30
