<br />A Council Member commented on agenda item 6.2A. She said that water is a precious <br />resource and this is one-step closer to a better system that will increase reliability. This <br />Council Member is supportive and excited about this item. <br /> <br />MIS Foust/Gee to approve the Consent Calendar. Motion carried unanimously by <br />electronic vote. <br /> <br />MOTION: Waive reading of the Consent Calendar except the ordinances by title, adopt <br />the resolutions and the ordinances, and approve other items. <br /> <br />6.1 Section - Motions <br /> <br />A. Approve the Regular City Council meeting minutes of January 11, 2010 as <br />submitted. <br />Minute Order 10-012 <br />B. Professional services agreements to support development of Water System Master <br />Plan. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by motion, two professional service agreements identified below as part <br />of the water master planning effort, and authorize the City Manager to increase the <br />contract amounts up to 10% if necessary. <br /> <br />1. West Yost Associates (West Yost) in an amount not to exceed $328,618 for <br />consulting engineering services to provide water system modeling, capacity <br />assessment, and overall coordination of the work product. <br />Minute Order 10-013 <br />2. G & E Engineering Systems, Inc. (G & E) in an amount not to exceed $128,290 <br />for consulting engineering services to perform a seismic vulnerability study and <br />pipeline condition assessment. <br /> <br />Minute Order 10-014 <br /> <br />6.2 Section - Resolution <br /> <br />A. Approval of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between City and County of <br />San Francisco and City of Redwood City (RWC) for the San Francisco Public <br />Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Hetch Hetchy Water System Improvement Program <br />(WSIP) - Bay Division Pipeline Reliability Upgrade Project - Bay Division Pipeline <br />No.5 - Peninsula Reaches Project. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1.
