<br />7B <br />Page 40 <br /> <br /> <br />Peninsula Traffic Congestion Relief Alliance <br />Pre-Planning Questions -- Compilation <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />Transit Resource Center (TRC) is managing and coordinating the <br />development of a Strategic Plan for the Peninsula Traffic Con- <br />gestion Relief Alliance (the Alliance). As part of the preparation <br />for the Strategic Planning retreat in October, TRC undertook a <br />Situation Analysis consisting of a series of interviews with Board <br />Members, Supervisory Committee members, staff and partners <br />of the Alliance. All Board members and Supervisory Commit- <br />tee members were contacted several times in order to elicit <br />responses to the questionnaire. People were overwhelmingly positive about the work <br />of the Alliance, its Executive Director, its staff and its Board. <br />However, there were key issues that seem to be at the top of <br />most people's minds: <br /> <br />· The need for clarity about the Alliance's current mission; <br /> <br />· The ability to prioritize which programs the Alliance <br />should or could be working on; <br /> <br />38 <br />
